March News and Information for North Cyprus
Festivals in March Festivals play a big part in North Cypriot culture and in March Lefkosa, Girne and Gazimagusa will be celebrating the European Film Festival. There will also be a Photography and Film Festival at the East Mediterranean University in Gazimagusta.
Folklore festivals are also popular in Northern Cyprus and these are celebrated thrughout the year. You can see these at the castle in Girne and the Othello Tower at Gazimagusta.
Property Prices Analysts have recently reported that Cyprus is an excellent choice for overseas property investors due to the capital growth it has had. Home Move has revealed that property prices on Cyprus have increased over the last few years and property on the island had risen by an average of 12% in 2007. It is thought prices will rise a further 8% during 2008 and will continue to increase over the coming years.
Not only is Cyprus a good investment for capital growth it also offers a good rental market as well. It is a popular destination for holiday makers who enjoy Cyprus's relaxed atmosphere and good weather.
