Lapta Area Guide
Located about 10 kms west of Kyrenia, Lapta is an excellent location for a holiday home. The beach has great views and Lapta offers some of the best scenery in Northern Cyprus. It is a great coastal town with good restaurants along its frontage.
Lapta has something for everyone, the Lapta Strip is the main road that runs through the town and has plenty of bars, pubs, cafes, casinos and restaurants along the way. The strip is very lively and has a good holiday atmosphere, during the summer it's a very popular resort.
The older parts of Lapta are popular for those who want to move to Northern Cyprus on a more permanent basis. Lapta enjoys a protected micro climate and has an excellent pure water supply.
Lapta is one of the best and most interesting historic regions of Northern Cyprus. It is also famed for its rich crops of fruit and vegetables which are grown locally.
